Prayer

Food Pantry (Open Door)
Friendship United Methodist Church maintains an active food pantry to assist those in need. The Food Pantry is open on the 1st Saturday of each month from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry
Throughout the year, Friendship UMC collects shoebox gifts for children from ages 2 to 14 and packs OCC shoeboxes in November. Collectively, OCC shoeboxes have enabled more than 100 million boys and girls in over 100 countries to experience God’s love for them.
Fall Festival
The Fall Festival is a day to celebrate the Love of Christ through food and fellowship on the fourth Saturday in September. The church community comes together to cook and serve our famous Brunswick stew and BBQ. Proceeds from the Fall Festival provides funding for our Church mission projects, building funds, and other needs.
Trunk-or-Treat
Held the end of October, the Church parking lot is transformed into a Trunk-or-Treat festival where children can dress in costumes and trick-or-treat in a safe and fun environment.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is conducted every summer for pre-school children from age 4 to rising 5th graders.
Boy Scouts
Boy Scout Pack and Troop 64 meets at 6:30 until 8:00 pm Monday evenings in the Church Fellowship Hall. Cub Scouts must be between the ages of 6 to 10 or in grades 1-5. Boy Scouts must be between the ages of 11 to 17 or in grades 6 – 12. The cost of joining is $30 per year. Boys need to obtain a BSA uniform upon joining.
